After having a successful launch weekend, the Apple iPad seems to be getting a small share of problems that people are reporting with the device. There have been three particular problems mentioned which include the device not powering back up after shut down, the iPad over heating and also problems with Wi-Fi mentioned. Although this is a first generation device you'd still expect issues like this to have been captured in the testing stages. Hopefully software can fix all three of the issues.

Next up is wifi problems where some users are reporting spotty reception. It is unknown at the moment if firmware can fix this as wireless issues can happen from time to time depending on interference from other devices.

The power issues arose after someone was unable to restart their iPad after shutting it down. Only after a resync with iTunes could the iPad be used again.
