In lack of some original designs of Windows 8 tablets, we’re happy with concepts such as the Toshiba tablet shown below, based on Wacom technology and Win 8. Add to that a stylus and some Wacom drawing and you’ve got a perfect tool for designers.Created by Diego Garcia, this render also includes a keyboard dock, that turns the tablet into a full fledged laptop.
This Toshiba concept tablet has 2 USB 3.0 ports, also packs in a SIM slot and microSD card slot. The keyboard dock is easy to attach, through a mechanism that seems similar to the one on the Transformer Prime from ASUS. The dock offers a multitouch touchpad, Ethernet port and HDMI output. Back to the main slate, that has 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity and uses IPS technology. The screen supports a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution and other features include an Intel Core CPU, 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of SSD storage.the Toshiba Windows 8 tablet relies on a Wacom 12.1 inch display,
As you may have figured out, this is a product for designers, drawers, creators of animations and artists. As the renders show, this is in no way a slim tablet, at 15.5mm in thickness,It also has 4 rotating balls at the bottom, helping the device move and rotate on the tablet more easily. twice as much as the ASUS Transformer Prime (almost). Any speculations of a price for this beauty, in case it ever becomes real?
